Commemorative Ceremony for Dr Mary Lee

It is with a saddened heart that I write to let you know that Dr Mary Lee passed away on 13 August 2020.

Dr Mary Lee joined the Hong Kong Psychological Society in 1986. She was a founding member of the Division of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and was instrumental in the formation of the Division in 2000 with the intention and vision to create a meaningful place for IO Psychology and an inspiring future for IO Psychologists in Hong Kong. This is the legacy that she has left from which all experienced and young IO Psychologists have benefited and will continue to benefit.

Mary was a Fellow of the Hong Kong Psychological Society and a Registered Psychologist of both the Division of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and the Division of Clinical Psychology. She was President of the Hong Kong Psychological Society from 2002 to 2003.

To those who have known her or have worked with her, she is remembered as someone with a pure spirit, loving, gentle, energetic and dedicated to foster new psychologists within the IO community of Hong Kong.

She will be dearly missed and the Division will always be grateful for her leadership, guidance and foresight in establishing IO Psychology in Hong Kong.
